Sagamore Spirit Rye Whisky

Built in 1909, at Maryland’s Sagamore Farm – uniquely pure and naturally filtered spring water, fed from a limestone aquifer. The same water that fuels the champion thoroughbreds, also cuts the rich spice of our rye, creating a spirit as revolutionary as America’s risk-takers and history makers. Our story is one of passion, of old meeting new, and crafting a timeless American whiskey as pure as the Sagamore streams.

Tantalizing Aroma: Complex and captivating aromas of warm cinnamon, vanilla bean, honey, and nutmeg.
Rich Color: A fall bonfire glow-amber with gold undertones.
Refined Palate: Smooth mouth-feel, with caramel and molasses up front and peppery baking spices on the end.
Distinctive Finish: A refreshing and zesty rye spiciness.

2015 Aime Roquesante Rose

Cotes de Provence, France

Provence extends along the Mediterranean coast in southeastern France. Vineyards bask in sunlight during the long, dry summers, providing ideal conditions for fruit development. Of the few appellations in the region, Cotes de Provence is the largest with more than 50,000 acres, 85 percent of which are planted for the production of rose wines. Fruit for this wine comes from the vineyards in Vidauban along the banks of the Argens river. Aime Roquesante, a modern winery respectful of traditional processes, blends Provence's predominant grapes: cinsault, grenache and syrah. The distinctive bottle, a curvy shape known as a skittle, sets off the pretty color of the wine. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of fresh strawberry and hints of peach. On the palate, taste watermelon, young red berries, citrus and stony minerality on the crisp finish. Drink it as an aperitif or with hors d'oeuvres such as smoked salmon or pate, salads, seafood, fried chicken, barbecue, Asian cuisines, fruit and soft cheeses.

Loosen Bros. Dr. L Riesling

This extremely popular introductory wine embodies the elegant and racy style of classic Mosel Riesling. It is refreshing and fruity, with a fine mineral edge that is typical of the region. The grapes used to make Dr. L come exclusively from traditional vineyards with steep slopes and slate soil. By working closely with a select group of growers on long-term contracts, brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen are able to ensure excellent quality in every vintage.

Koval Bourbon

KOVAL Distillery’s organic, single barrel bourbon has the requisite mash bill of at least 51% corn, but instead of the usual rye or wheat supplement, they have included one of the main cereals of Asia and Africa. Millet is a gluten-free ancient sustenance grain, and like corn, has a history of working in the spirits industry, albeit in Nepal, where it has long been celebrated as a libation of choice.

Tucked away in a charred new American oak barrel to age, millet and corn learn to complement each other, neither taking the lead. Out of the bottle, this duet opens with notes of mango chutney, while the millet renders a soft whisper of vanilla throughout. Then harmonizing, the grains sing with the sweetness of apricot custard. This pair finishes with peppery caramel, a diminuendo into a wisp of clove-spiked tobacco lingering on the tongue.

Small Batch. Single Barrel. Unfiltered. Heart cut. Organic.
